I'm delighted to introduce myself as a qualified counsellor with a BA in counselling, dedicated to providing counselling services to individuals across the UK. At Open Ear Counselling, I am passionate about supporting both children and adults who have a diagnosis or identify as neurodivergent.
My Approach: I believe in the power of integrative counselling, which means that I draw from various therapeutic approaches to tailor my sessions to your unique needs. By combining person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques, I create a holistic and individualised treatment plan that supports your personal growth and wellbeing.
Areas of Counselling Offered: Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, or other emotional challenges, I am here to help.
The Value of the Services for Schools: In addition to working with individuals, I also collaborate with schools to support their existing support systems. With my experience of working with children including those who are neurodivergent, in schools, CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), and an autism family support service, I can offer valuable insights and expertise. By integrating my counselling services, schools can enhance the emotional wellbeing of their students, improve attendance, reduce behaviour issues, and foster a positive and inclusive school climate.
I am passionate about providing a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. If you are looking for support on your journey towards emotional wellbeing and personal growth, I invite you to reach out and learn more about how Open Ear Counselling can benefit you.
